Privacy policy
Short version: this site has no accounts, newsletter signup, or payment collection. Generator settings can stay in your browser. Voluntary emails, ordinary hosting logs, and third-party advertising or analytics (where present) are described below.

1. Information we collect directly
This site has no sign-up, no login, no contact form, no newsletter, and no payment collection. We do not ask for your name, address, date of birth, or payment details as a condition of using the pages. If you email contact@lotterynumberlab.com, we receive whatever you choose to send in that message — typically an email address and the text of your note — and use it to reply. We do not invent other account records from that correspondence.
2. Information stored on your device
The number generator can remember your own settings (analysis window, weighting preset,
slider values and filter toggles) in your browser's localStorage. That
storage stays in the browser; it is not uploaded to our servers by the site’s own
code. Clear your site data at any time and those saved settings are gone; the site
continues to work with defaults.
Interactive tools (for example Ticket Match, Odds Explorer, Spending, and What If) run
in your browser. Numbers or options you type into those tools are used for the
on-page calculation and are not sent to Lottery Number Lab as account data. They are not
written to localStorage by the current tool scripts.
3. Server logs
Our hosting provider may record ordinary technical request logs when pages are served. Those logs can include an IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring page, and browser user agent. They are used for security and to keep the site running. Retention follows the host’s practices; this policy does not invent a separate retention schedule.
4. Third-party advertising
Pages on this site may include Google advertising tags and may show advertising supplied by Google and its partners. Ad networks use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and may use them to show ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. In the tracked site build, the AdSense client script is included in page HTML when a publisher ID is configured; empty ad slots are only rendered when ads are explicitly turned on in site configuration.

5. Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to record page views and general traffic patterns.
The tracked build loads the Google tag (gtag.js) as part of page HTML
when a measurement ID is configured. Google may set cookies or use similar technology
for that measurement. Lottery tool selections are not designed to be sent as Analytics
events by this site’s own scripts. We do not sell, rent or trade visitor lists for
marketing.
You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and you can review how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
6. External links and data sources
We link to state lottery sites, official game sites and public open-data portals. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one does not apply to them. Drawing results are fetched from the New York State open-data portal; when you press the "fetch latest results" button, your browser contacts that portal directly, and their terms and privacy policy govern that request.
7. Children
This site concerns lottery games that are legally restricted to adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data a site holds about you, to object to processing, or to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Practical steps for this site include: clear your browser storage for these pages, use the advertising and Analytics opt-outs linked above, and email us if you have sent correspondence you want removed. Third-party advertising and Analytics providers process data under their own policies.
9. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
